mariuccio90 Posted May 6, 2011 Share Posted May 6, 2011 hi everybody, here there is my configuration GigaByte H55-D2H Intel i3 540 2X2GB corsair ddr3 ??ASUS HD5770 1024 GDDR5?? now i tried already this configuration with a geforce 8600gs 512 ddr2 and everything worked well. now with this new card i'm freaking out since 10 hours. i tried [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] with retail and then retail install, combo update, and after that the hole... i tried [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], new chameleon with ati experimental, change the com.boot.apple.plist the boot the rom, but nothing!! what i've got is a kernel panic or a no signal after the apple loading (after the reboot for the combo update). please help me i'm without pc Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/256486-snow-leopard-on-h55-d2h-with-hd5770/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
rrprime Posted May 8, 2011 Share Posted May 8, 2011 you updated you system ? if so you managed to render the osx install useless. ALWAYS back up you kexts kernel and extra settings before updating and ALWAYS have a cloned OSX in hand to put the kexts kernel and rest back after the update. try the Legacy Kernel from qoopz. also try the 10.6.6i hazard distro.
