avin7000 Posted May 1, 2011 Share Posted May 1, 2011 Hi all, I am trying to install Mac with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] + Retail DVD method, On chameleon prompt, when I directly click on Mac Install DVD, Apple logo comes and later a STOP sign appears. But when I use flags, for safe mode, I am getting Still waiting for root device error. aquadog Posted May 2, 2011 Share Posted May 2, 2011 it might not be possible to install it for u.. I am new to this but I had to get ide dvd just specially for mac installation plus I had one old ide hdd and that solved my problem. Try searching how to install it from pen-drive or external hdd.
