Running OS X on that laptop will not be a pleasant experience, lots of stuff will not work right or at all because of your video card. Download this CD Image. Put it in your DVD/CD player and restart the your computer. Make sure the computer boots off the cd. When the CD finishes loading there with be a boot menu. Eject the cd and put in your SL 10.6.3 DVD. I think you hit F5. Then select the SL 10.6.3 DVD and you're off to the races.
