MugenFox
Hello. I have set up my Mac and have been using it for a couple of weeks now but one thing that is bothering me is the resolution. It only shows 4:3 resolutions. It still looks good at 1600x1200 but I am wondering if it is possible to have it at 1440x900 because it looks much crisper. Any help is appreciated. Gringo Vermelho
Our local psychic is attending a convention in Atlantis and is unable to reply at this time. Specs? Injection method? Display Type? Connection Type? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/255894-widescreen-resolution/#findComment-1676022 Share on other sites

Gringo Vermelho
I suppose there is no way you can connect the display via DVI or HDMI? Unfortunately I don't know anything about ATI videocards and Hackintoshes. Maybe something can be improved with your injection method. You could try something like SwitchResX, it's a utility that will let you add custom resolutions. MugenFox
I tried SwitchResX and it didn't work. Not too good with ATI cards. I will try connecting with a DVI to VGA adapter and see if it works.
