a.3
Hi, My HW is: CPU i7 920, MB Asus P6X58D-E, Nvidia GTX 260 and I'm facing a very strange behaviour with my Hackintosh system. When I boot the OS I'm ending with a some kind of light blue screen and working system beneath it. The only possible way to see the real MacOS Desktop is to wait for 10 minutes without any mouse/keyboard movement and after the screen goes to sleep to press any key so I can see the MacOS. The graphics then seems to work OK after this procedure. The same process was repeated during the ##### + MuliBeast installation to SL 10.6.3. Now I'm with 10.6.7. I've also tried the Tonymacx86 nvidia update. The GraphicsEnabler is set to Yes. So please help me! Any advices or ideas are warmly welcomed. Gringo Vermelho
Try plugging your monitor into the other output on the video card. Use a VGA-DVI adapter if you have to. a.3
Some progress here, yesterday I've installed again tonymacx86 nvidia update and after that starting to remove NV* kexts in /System/Library/Extensions one by one (all of them also). And it turns out that if I didn't have the NVDANV50Hal.kext - MacOS starts immediately, but in 1024x768 mode without any 3d (youtube & flash makes Safari not responding). Any suggestions ? p.s. I will also try the different DVI port!
