M_97
Hi. My laptop has a Nvidia GeForce 9200M GE, and Im looking for drivers. I found one, the NVinject, but I don't know where I can download it, and how do I install it. Can someone help me, or give me another driver? I use iPC. Alessandro17
NVinject will be included in your distribution. Hint: do not use iPC. Old, and according to many, not a good distro. Ideally use retail. M_97
Well, I've installed iPC without drivers (just the PS/2 ones). But I need them, as everyone. Help? Gringo Vermelho
Use Pacifist (google it) to extract kernel extensions from installer packages and install DVDs. M_97
But I don't have NVinject anywhere. I need a link to download it and instructions to install it. Gringo Vermelho
When Alessandro said "NVInject will be included on your distribution", he meant, it's on your install DVD. As I said, you can use Pacifist to extract it. NVInject must be installed in the same way as any other kernel extension that goes in /System/Library/Extensions. Copy it there, then set the proper permissions from Terminal. Or you can use this: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=253395 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/255696-where-can-i-find-nvinject-and-how-do-i-install-it/#findComment-1675413 Share on other sites
M_97
I think I'll use the Kext Wizard. And no, I don't have NVinject in my DVD. Have you got a link to download NVinject kext?
