Gringo Vermelho Posted April 25, 2011 Share Posted April 25, 2011 You will need a new video card. The problem is that it has to be an AGP card. Right? You didn't say. A Geforce 7600 GT should work in 32-bit kernel and drivers mode. AGP bus transfers are not supported, the card will work like a PCI graphics card. This is fine for normal use but you can forget about full screen 3D gaming above 640x480. If your motherboard has a PCI-E port, the Geforce 9500 GT is a good choice if you don't care too much about 3D graphics performance. Find the specs of that laptop and use the forum search here to see if somebody else has installed OS X on it, or something with similar specs. Honestly you do have to be a bit of a hardware guy to install OS X on a PC.
