Hiro_
Several troubles can be generated because the USB Support is enabled at BIOS, you can try disable this support into your bios system, and try once again boot with the your DVD disc. [Hint] Before start countdown of the darwin, press F8 and type "-v" for than you can understand the possible issues than can happen. rkwok
Yesterday I had the same problem during installation, and I was assuming the keyboard was bad, and tried 4 different keyboards. Finally realized when using USB mouse the ps2 keybaord will not work during installation, therefore my conclusion was when using usb mouse, one should use usb keyboard. and if you are using ps2 keyboard, then use ps2 mouse then the no keyboard problem will be solve. (all USB setting in BIOS had been tried with no success, but switching both device to the same connection interface solved the problem.) Hope this will help others overcome this annoying problem during initial setup. Have fun.
