dsalsa
Does anyone know how I can get my Snow Leopard to boot without having to use "cpus=1" ? I am really getting tired of having to type "cpus=1" every single time I boot my Snow Leopard. Unfortunately "idlehalt=0" in com.apple.Boot.plist doesn't work even though It did work very nicely under Leopard. To make matters worse I just installed iLife and noticed that most of the programs that come in iLife don't work because It says that I require at least a Core Duo processor. Someone please tell me the solution not to have to type "cpus=1" or anything for that matter every single time I boot Snow and at the same time get Snow to recognize that I do have a Core Duo processor. Thank you in advance. Acer Aspire 5601AWLMi Intel Core Duo processor T2050 (1.6 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache) 15.4" WXGA CrystalBrite LCD (16ms) Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 It came with 100GB HDD 5400rpm but I'm using an external 250GB USB drive DVD-Super Multi double layer (support DVD+R Double Layer/DVD+-RW) Came with 512MB DDR2 (support dual-channel) I added another 512 to make it 1GB 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN which I have never been able to get to work in Leopard Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/255017-help-boot-snow-without-cpus1/ Share on other sites
