Taping pin 20 2. Flash Bios whitelist 3. Rebrand in ubuntu as Airport card. 4. Inject with DSDT 5. Change card slot 6. Any other methods Thanks you! I was able to follow the guide at ubuntu forum http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1617380.html I flashed my card with the new free firmware according to the guide. After this the card was redetected both in windows and linux, but no change in osx. If somebody can modify this free firmware for osx, to rebrand it to airport... I'm interested in this also, as I currently swapped the WLAN module on my HP 8540p to a Broadcom 43224AG and I can't get it to work on OSX.
