Kernel panic on Atheros 5001X

I wish I had good news on this test but...

 

I got a juicy kernel panic (never seen before, I was too lucky up until now) on an Atheros 5001. Boot halts at a point where it can't find the MAC address which is filled with zeros 00:00:00:00etc...

I can boot in safe mode though and right now I'm on the wired LAN.

 

I replaced IO80211Family.kext with the one off of 10.4.5 as suggested and tried all the IONetworkingFamily.kext versions but no joy.

 

Any clue is welcome
