iBoot + BIOS Overclocking

Hello,

I have a Gigabyte EP35-DS3L mobo. ##### is configured as the default bootloader (Windows and Ubuntu are also on this desktop).

For some reason, overclocking the CPU causes a boot-loop that acts as if it errs on starting #####. Has anyone else had this problem?

The overclock is less than what was stable when the computer was relying solely on windows bootloader. Reseting the overclock to stock in BIOS fixes the bootloop problem.

Anyone's input would be appreciated!

I am just guessing here.

Did you change the multiplier?

if so you should uset the busratio = x flag

Only guessing here.

I didn't change the multiplier, just the frequency. It seems to be a problem with #####.. I'm not sure why, though.

I switched the boot order of my drives to make windows primary, which lets me boot into Windows with no problem.

I think I might just make GRUB my default bootloader and see what happens.

Oh, I've got Windows on one HDD, and Ubuntu and OS X sharing another.

Thanks for the tip!

When you say that ##### is configured as the default bootloader, do you really mean Chameleon? The ##### that I know is from TonyMacX86 and is an iso image of a bootable CD. If you are asking about Chameleon, there are many versions currently available, so you would need to identify which one you are using.
