Hi Everybody, I am currently running a 9800GT and my OpenGL performance is horrible using NVenabler (My score in windows is 30 and in OSX is only 8 when running cinebench). I am also failing all the Opengl 3.0 test in glview355. Any ideas on how I can fix this? I am not very good with OSX so please be gentile. I am currently running 10.6.7 and using chameleon bootloader.

I get ~28 with mine in Cinebench 11 so maybe get rid of the NV Enabler and use the:

   <key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
  <string>Yes</string>

As the key/string pair to get the support for the card from Chameleon in your /Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist to see if this helps.

I did try the graphics enabler in my boot.plist file but I got no recognition of my graphics card. I first removed all the nvenabler.kext files, then I enabled the graphicsenabler in my boot.plist file and then I rebuilt the permission and cache. I got no resolution options and no recognized video card. I also don't have my hardware id so I can't add it either.

Any other ideas?

A couple search on the latest version of Chameleon you find find and use that. Second to get the lspci that is built for Mac or boot live linux CD to use lspci their to get the ID. And a third now I think a little longer go to the Aquamac site for the EFI string method get one of the pre-built xml files use the gfxutil to get the pciroot numbers you need to put into pre-built xml file then convert to hex to put into the com.apple.Boot.plist to try that method.

Edit: For the Aquamac string I seem to remember there being no 9800 files there when I used it so if the case then use one for an 8800 as I did, the cards are identical except for a renaming.
