Been out of the scene for a couple of years and just got back into it. Used ##### to install Snow Leopard from a retail dvd, used the Gigabyte P35-DS4 kexts pack, updated OSX to 10.6.7, and used the latest fermi kext for my 470 GTX card.

Installed Flash 10.2 and repaired permissions.

Safari/Chrome lock up if I load any site with flash content.

I tried searching but just found really old post from 2006 concerning this issue.

Anyone know how I can fix this (is there a fix?)

Complete Specs: Q6600 CPU

Gigabyte P35-DS4

Nvidia 470GTX

8GB DDR2

Thanks!

I had a similar problem and I followed some suggestion posted I can't remember where. It basically said to uninstall flash completely and then install a different version.

I can't recall how I removed flash, but I think the package for reinstalling it is here: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flash...p10_archive.zip

I used 10r45_2 and it fixed my problem completely!

Good luck!

Have you tried using flash "square"?, it's a beta version that takes advantage of hw decoding, here is the site Adobe Labs

I would also try with the latest cuda drivers.

cheers!
