The BIOS on the video card has to do with the platform that the card is running on (PPC or x86). It has very little to do with the OS. It's been the common misconception for a while now that a Mac video card will fix this issue. A Mac video card is required on a Mac because it's a different platform. You might be running Mac OS X now on x86, but it's still an x86 platform; a Mac card won't solve anything. This may change if Apple goes w/EFI or something in their final specs, though. Anyway, closed.
