You are going to need the 10.6.7 kernel by Nawcom. You will find it in the new releases & updates section. Install it after you do the update BUT BEFORE you restart.

Never heard of Franklyn Kext, but you had better back it up before you update.

Go and cheek out the 10.6.7 update thread and see what problems, if any, others with AMD CPU are having.

first i must install the kernel

then i must install the comboupdate

and then i can reboot ?

I have installed the update.

 

The Maschine is booting but i have 3 Problems

 

1. i see the error APPLEUSBOHCI cannot be loaded

2. at booting comes map_seg failed

3. My PS2 Keyboard is running but my USB Mouse is not running. I see the mousepointer but i cannot move the mouse

 

Can you help ?

Just Update my Dell 530 via the normal Software Update.

No problems with the update - all went smoothly.

Restart OK.

Sound works.

 

USB3.0 PCI-E card works (as before with Time Machine backup USB3.0 drive).

 

XBench shows slightly LOWER performance.
