Dellmantt
Not without knowing what your hardware is? What kernel you use, patched or vanilla? What other patches were installed for video, audio etc? Dellmantt
You are going to need the 10.6.7 kernel by Nawcom. You will find it in the new releases & updates section. Install it after you do the update BUT BEFORE you restart. Never heard of Franklyn Kext, but you had better back it up before you update. Go and cheek out the 10.6.7 update thread and see what problems, if any, others with AMD CPU are having. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=252847 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/253746-update-1067/#findComment-1663991 Share on other sites

Dellmantt
I thought the USB problem only happened when there was a mis-match between kernel & system versions, obviously not. You need to roll back 2 usb kexts. It is well documented, just search. Dellmantt
Not really needed but if you run kext utility or the new kext wizard it will rebuild the extent ion cache. You can do it from the terminal too. Can't remember the command off the top of my head. Dellmantt
I mean from which version of snow leopard 10.6.? . I think that the problems started at 10.6.5 so you probably need them from 10.6.4. Before you do that try this with the 10.6.7 kexts http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...t&p=1564796 .
