hi Since yesterday I'm fighting with the laptop model hp dv6 1350EL

well yesterday I managed to run half-point to this guide

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...owtopic=226817

I then selected the driver list and I did indeed get initialized on the partition and so far ok

then after once installed all that you restart your laptop after 30 seconds from the end of the installation when I restarted this error in the black screen

boot0: testing

boot0: testing

boot0: error

and do not go further as I do? I tried again 2 more times to reinstall all of course with Chameleon selected as the guide says nothing but still the same error

how do I do? help me

await your reply thanks

The link doesn't work anymore. This usually works by using a boot cd and then often changing disks and installing the SL DVD. When it is done, there is a way to install Chameleon to the hard drive.

boot0 is the file that Chameleon writes to the MBR. One way is to use ##### and after choosing to install kexts, there is usually a choice under boot to install Chameleon (to the hard drive). If Chameleon is not installed to the hard drive, thus written to the MBR, you have to keep booting the boot cd and choosing your SL partition until Cham is written to the hard drive. It sounds to me that you have missed the step where you write Chameleon to the hard drive as part of the post-install process of SL. Be aware that if you are dual booting, writing Cham to the MBR overwrites Windows in the MBR. This info can be found in many of the dual-boot guides. I assume you have deleted no partitions after the SL install. Did you try to reinstall Chameleon?
