Would it be possible to get OS Xinstalled on this Notebook?

CPU: AMD Athlon X2 QL-65 2,1GHz

Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD4650

Chipset: AMD780G + SB700

LAN: Realtek RTL8168D GBit Ethernet

WLAN: Atheros 9285 b/g/n

I can install a second HDD, so I would make a Win7 / OSX dualboot

So, got my fingers on a copy of Snow Leopard again. ##### starts the disc, but at the point where I should get the installer GUI there is only a black screen. I'm using the boot parameters: GraphicsEnabler=No -x -v -s

Graphics: Tried out LinearBurns kexts -> No res-change, no QE/CI. Currently using dongs RadeonHD.kext for full native res. Currently testing muchas method

LAN: Works ootb

WLAN: Works with newest IO80211Family.kext

Audio: Works, but no volume control and minor sound distortions if not using cpus=1. AMD Dual-Core Optimizer kext doesn't solve problem fully

Battery Management: Works, with modified kext

Integrated Webcam: Works, when RadeonHD.kext is loaded, otherwise KP

Touchpad: Works with VoodooPS2

Keyboard: same

Touch-sensitive audio controls: Work, except volume control only displayed, but not executed

Touch-sensitive WLAN control: Works, but no display of current status.

CardReader: Tested VoodooSDHC: Caused kernel panic when inserting card

IR: Works

FireWire: Doesnt work

WLAN: Card is recognized. WLans are visible, can connect, but don't get IP assignes. Network settings say "self assignes IP"

Based on this link, your WLAN should either be using 802.11b or 802.11g. I'm not sure how to check in OS X which one your laptop's WLAN is set to. But you can set your WIFI router to operate at 802.11b, first. If it doesn't work, then set it to 802.11g. That's how I got my Belkin F5D7000 (802.11g) to work properly.

I had to reinstall OS X as the HFS file system was messed up and fsck couldn't fix it.

This time I refrained from using iAtkos and instead installed from a retail 10.6.0 disc + Nawcom ModCD then updated to 10.6.7

I've continued to work on getting graphics to run using muchas method.

I found out that I need to use encoder DIG2 on LVDS instead of DIG1 (as stated by dmsg dump) in order to get output on internal screen. Problem is that the screen image is scrambled

For the other hardware:

Audio now works WITH volume change

Battery readout works using VoodooBattery.kext

Wireless: still haven't found the kext I used for it before
