You write that you have a Dell Inspiron1545. I don't think that the motherboard/cpu that the Dell 1545 uses is the same as an MSI Wind motherboard and cpu. I think that you should use an install method that is compatible with your Dell 1545 motherboard/cpu, and that is not the SnowyWindOSX procedure. hxxp://insanelywind.com/blog/2010/01/26/snowywindosx-final-released/ "SnowyWindOSX is a Mac OS X Snow Leopard distro originally thought of by InsanelyWind forum user “Mars478″. This method is widely used and covers a fair amount of different hardware and also requires using a retail disk. I suggest SL 10.6.3. I think you still may have to refer to an install guide for your graphics card, but I'm not sure of that. Goodbye and good luck. But I wont use this system that often. ) I don't know, they all have problems, but I'll hazard a guess. I think you should start with 10.6 and upgrade to 10.6.2 or if you can, start with 10.6.2. Because http://deviato.wordpress.com/2010/02/12/de...leopard-10-6-2/ Dell Inspiron 1545 drivers for Snow Leopard 10.6.2 This provides kexts and stuff to make your install work. You're going to have a lot of trouble if you don't use this install guide, because I read lots of reports about things not working right. I also think you better install this in 64 bit mode. The problem is that this is sort of old and the links may be broken. So you can use Google, and put in the search window: hackintosh "Dell 1545" and look for any one successful install. There will be a guide or they will tell you how they did it. You might not have that many choices. Don't forget a DSDT.aml which deviato 10.6.2 has and still make the changes in Bios that the tonymacosx guide has screenshots for before you start.
