DjRobin2
Hi guys, One week ago I installed Snow Leopard with Nawcom's BootCD on my Acer TravelMate 5720. When I typ GraphicsEnabler=n OS X boot successfully. But after the standard things of installing I have to install a network connection. But I don't see an option to select a Wi-Fi connection. I have an Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection. Anyone ideas? Makaan
Most of the Wi-Fi cards are not compatible with MacOSX Airpors so it is normal and well-known issue. You can try this one : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DELL-Wireless-DW1510...1#ht_1546wt_907 Or this USB dongle : http://www.dealextreme.com/p/ultra-mini-na...k-adapter-48166 Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/252402-wi-fi-problems/#findComment-1657422 Share on other sites
OSX86ORBUST
if your wireless is not compatible which i assume its not you can take an easier route. Google instructions on disassembling your laptop. if you find nothing there, then carefully remove all screws from the bottom and any back panel or on top near the keyboard. and install a known compatible wireless card. they are cheap on ebay and this way you are not toting around an extra wireless dongle. btw its seem daunting at first but if you are very careful and take your time its a piece of cake. This is also your opportunity to install an upgraded bgn wifi card.
