mulcyber
I have the same problem Everything is working fine except this. Can anyone help? Thanks Robin The audio chip is a device and like a car it needs to be powered. That is done with a kext (driver). I downloaded your motherboard manual, the one listed in the subject, from: http://support.acerpanam.com/acerpanam/Man...100729_BOOK.pdf Realtek ALC272X-GR for High Definition Audio Codec This is the name of the driver for your audio device. There needs to be a Hackintosh version of kext, which can nicely be installed with Kext Helper B7. There are kexts for (Realtek) ALC889, ALC888, ALC892 etc. I wasn't able to find a kext for your device, so it will not work. Perhaps one can find a substitute driver. You could try voodoohda.kext for instance, just a guess. I think they have USB devices that can be substituted for your sound device that work on Hackintoshs.
