Hi eveybody,

My Fujitsu Lifebook P5020 would like to test an Apple:

Intel Pentium M Banias 0,13um 1000 Mhz MMX, SSE, SSE2

1 Go SDRAM (DDR)

Intel 855M chipset

Intel Centrino 802.11 b

Display 1280 x 768

I've removed the 2,5 " 80Go HDD and put one 20 Go for OSX86.

The install with MacOSX_10.4.6_GoatsecxDVD went through smoothly up to reboot (it has installed AMD patch, I didn't find how to avoid this).

The laptop boot and load for about 10 sec and leave a black screen.

I've used:

-v same result

-x " "

-x -v " "

-s yep it gave me the prompt : I've tried : sh /etc/rc as it is proposed, and then blue screen and working mouse.

I'm using an external Apple usb keyboard / mouse since Laptop touchpad and keyboard are not yet recognised.

So if somebody has got an idea he'll be welcome.

Thanks,

lion

Right before clicking the Install button, you must first click the Customize button (to the left of the Install button)

In Customize, click on the little arrow in front of the patches item and select patches for only Intel (not AMD). Choose SSE2 only, not SSE3.

Hi Rammjet,

Thanks for your help.

Within MacOSX_10.4.6_GoatsecxDVD customization in patches directory there are options for:

- 10.4.5 upgrade

- 10.4.6 upgrade

- SSE3

but I didn't find anything about AMD patch option, but I could be wrong, to be sure I'll have to reinstall it again.

thanks again,

Hi Rammjet,

I started a new installation and I can confirm the fact that there isn't any option for AMD Patch.

Custumization is organized in this way:

OSX86 Hacks Group

- MacOSXUpd10.4.5Intel

- MacOSXUpd10.4.6Intel

- 10.4.4_SSE3_ONLY_KERNEL

- Soundblaster ...

- 10.4.6.GMA.Support

- 10.4.6.Radeon.Mobility.Support

- 10.4.3.USB.Kexts

- Wireless.Networking.Support

- Signaltel9220Audio.Support

and that's it

thanks,

Hi all,

I've upgraded to 10.4.7.

I have some remaining issues:

1 - touchpad doesn't work

2 - keyboard doesn't work

3 - Centrino wireless is not recognized

4 - Graphic chipset Intel 855M doesn't accept 1280 x 768 even as an option at the starting.

It would be a pity if the keyboard won't work, the touchpad is less annoying.

Thanks,

lion

(this message is written from the Fujitsu that wanted to be an Apple)

Hi all,

I've reinstalled the new JaS 10.4.7 release. Thanks a lot JaS, it's very fast now to install jMac.

I still have some issues:

1 - touchpad doesn't work (it works, but if I press a key of the keyboard it stops immediatly to work)

2 - keyboard doesn't work at all

3 - Centrino wireless is not recognized

4 - Graphic chipset Intel 855M doesn't accept 1280 x 768 even as an option at the starting.

Have you got any idea at least about the keyboard ?

Thanks,

lion
