  1. Don't be sorry, now sound still works and LAN is working too, after installing AppleRTL8169Ethernet.kext 2.06 for 10.7 with MB 5.3.1 (Official Realtek driver for 81xx Ethernet controllers. Installs AppleRTL8169Ethernet.kext in /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns.).
  2. Tried it already, get spinning wheel for ever Edit: Reinstall Lnx2Mac after installing your kexts, no spinning wheel but LAN doesn't work, no change. Within your package HDAEnabler1.kext should be renamed HDAEnabler.kext shouldn't it ?

  4. Hi, Using Sabertooth X58, couldn't make network and sound to work. LAN is Realtek® 8110SC, 1 x Contrôleur Gigabit LAN, with AI NET2 Sound is Realtek® ALC892 8 channels. Does somebody get them working ? Thanks,
  5. Hi, I've installed the last SleepEnabler.kext for 10.6.4, but nothing changed, it doesn't go to sleep on its own despite set to do so after 2 mn. Manually it goes to sleep for 5 sec the first time and wakes up, then works good for next manual sleep, as soon as i reboot cycle restart "first sleep last only five sec and others manual sleep work well". Bios wake up options are disabled. Any idea ? Edit: At startup Magic Mouse scrolling works perfectly, after manual sleeping and wake up Magic Mouse scrolling doesn't work anymore and mouse displacement is erratic some times,
  6. Hi all, Hackint0sh is working well, no KP for the time being... It has sleep issue, it never goes to sleep on its own despite setting up to do so. When i put it to sleep manually it does it but wake up 5 sec after, if i put it again to sleep manually then it works, till i reboot manual sleeping works, after reboot same cycle starts ... Any idea ? Thanks,
  7. Did you try to switch off the unit wait for 1 mn and switch on again , Mine is sometimes buggy and i've to do this. Good luck

Hi all, I've got the following for my Hackint0sh: GA X58A-UD3R (Rev 1) i7 930 DDR3 3x2 Go 10666 Corsair Sapphire HD Radeon 4890 New Edition HDD 150Go WD Raptor WD1500ADFS Sata II SSD Crucial RealSSD C300 64 GB Sata III Belkin mini Bluetooth USB EDR 2.1 Apple Magic Mouse Apple Wireless Keyboard Logitech mouse and wireless keyboard with USB receiver. I've used Kakewalk 2.2 USB stick method (http://puru.se) with EX58A-UD7 since X58A-UD3R as mentionned here didn't work. Installation worked like a charm onto 150 Go WD Raptor, thanks to mrjanek. Update with 10.6.4 combo. Installed Netkas QE_CI exotic cards patch for 10.6.4 (http://netkas.org) for ATI Radeon 4890. First issue is wireless and bluetooth keyboard, they are activated by OS X, so to modify bios i'm obliged to use Logitech keyboard.. Second issue is that SSD connected to port GSATA3_6 onto the motherboard (Sata III 6 Gb/s, controlled by Marvell 9128) is shown as external drive (orange icon). Bios is set as follow: ICH SATA Control Mode : AHCI GSATA 6_7/IDE Controller : Enabled GSATA 6_7/IDE Ctrl Mode : AHCI SATA3 Firmware Selection : OnChip GSATA 8_9/IDE Controller : Disabled I've used SuperDuper to clone WD Raptor to SSD, both are working fine, but booting device is the one selected within the bios, booting device selection within Mac OS X System Preferences is useless. I've run XBench mainly for HDD tests, here attached are the results, on left side is my MacPro 1.1, middle is Hackint0sh with WD Raptor and right is Hackint0sh with SSD Sata III. I believe that SSD results are corresponding to SATA III transfert rates : Sequential read (256K blocks) = 298,48 MB/sec for a maximum of 355 MB/s (Crucial specifications) Sequential write (4K blocks) = 83,09 MB/sec for a maximum of 70 MB/s (Crucial specifications) Thanks.

On original 10.6 DVD "Optional Installs.mpkg" is 340 Ko and "Xcode.mpkg is 541 Ko" only, they have been copied onto the USB key altough I've used point 9, there wasn't any error message following these two command lines, you're right it didn't work. I get the following through terminal: What is strange is that Finder shows the partition name as "OS X Install Image" but at the window top shows "OS X Install Image 1" Thanks, lion, Edit: I found that on the System Disk there is a directory "Volumes/OS X Install Image", and all files are inside ... I remember now, first try I made a mistake with the partition name on USB key, instead of "OS X Install Image" I wrote "OSX Install Image", and execute all points up to 10, when I came back there wasn't any error ... because the first command "install -d "/Volumes/OS X Install Image/Optional Installs.localized"" didn't find the directory so IMHO created it.     Could it be that the "illegal instruction" is part of SSE3 instructions set ? After some investigations I discovered that my Athlon 64 - 3500+ (socket939) is 130 nm and so doesn't belong to the REV E family (90 nm) where SSE3 started. Lion
