ficanas Posted March 9, 2011 Share Posted March 9, 2011 Hi, I made a retail 10.6.6 installation on a DELL Studio Hybrid, Everything runs fluent, except the deadly X3100... I'm able to get acceleration working with original kext and arch=i386 but I'm still confused with Monitor Preference showing 2 displays, This graphic board has 2 outputs: 1 dvi, 1 hdmi Right now, I'm using the DVI w/ a Vga adaptor to a 1280x1024@60 lcd panel: I can switch to lower resolutions. My desktop is extended to another (virtual) monitor I can get to find. if I plug the original 1920x1200 DELL display using HDMI, it doesn't shows up. I guess I need a beat of DSDT editing and a flavor of EDID receipe, but I'm far of the needed knowledge!
