NilsG
Hello everyone I'm trying to run Mac OS for a long time. But I never succeeded. I lost files, lost my sleep, ... But yesterday I installed it like I always do but with other drivers. Now it boots and when the mac boot screen appears it loads for about 30 seconds and then I receive a multi-language message called: Restart your mac using the power button, press it untill it shuts down and restart your mac. I did that a couple times but it keeps giving me the same message. I was almost there... But I won't give up! I think if I booted verbose it says kernel issue: <panic> I used: Snow leopard 10.6.1-10.6.2 SSE2 SSE3 Intel AMD by Hazard for my: ASUS X50RL Intel core 2 duo ATI Radeon X1100 2gb RAM Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/250469-mac-os-almost-booted-on-asus/ Share on other sites
InsideMac
Yes, you're getting a dreadful Kernel Panic you either have an incompatible hardware or you need a kext to prevent the Panic. Sometimes a kext can be causing the problem, try to take a picture and upload it so we can see the issue in more depth as there can be several things happening. Good Luck!
