Help installing SL

Why are you using a distro? You could try the ##### + Retail Disk Installation. Here's a link for more info. http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ibo...ac-os-x-on.html
3. I've tried looking this up and all of them with the same answer and the answer I came to too. Basically I press Restart/Shut Down on the menu of the Apple Logo. Nothing happens, no window with the 60 sec countdown nothing it just ignores me. So I thought hmm, ok When I originally built the system the Shut down worked and everything. Now it doesn't I tried reinstalling on another Hard Drive and it works on that. I'd prefer to get my current install working I have a DSDT and my Mobo is a GA-G31M-ES2L I have tried all sorts of kexts that fly around and I don't think its a Kernel issue but more the GUI side of things not working Would love a hand Thanks in advance!
4. I personally have a GA-G31M-ES2L that works great its cheap and compatible but only supports up to 4GB RAM Another option would be a GA-G41M-ES2L which is ATX form factor, the G31M is mATX. Either would be great for a hackintosh 775 system you can always look one up on a online shop thats cheap and has what you want. Then google the model number plus osx86 then there should be someone who has gone ahead and tried them selves. Links: GA-G31M-ES2L GA-G41M-ES2L Good luck and have happy hacking!

Booting with Kernel Flags / com.apple.boot.plist

Try looking for the Extra folder in the root of your hard drive edit that com.apple.Boot.plist Hope that works!

DELL Inspiron 1545 Issues

To add the delay.. Go to Terminal type "sudo nano /Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist" Now you should see it say: <key>Timeout</key> <string>6</string> Change the number to 10 or if you dont have that in there add it your self About Safari/Chrome crashing that is strange have you tried a reinstall?
8. Looks like ##### can't see your Hard Drive you could try forcing the boot with these parameters rd=disk(Drive Numberhere)s(Partition Number here) Just try all the different numbers one of them may work. Hope this helps and Good Luck!

Kexts for graphic card, wireless and sound

Both the ATI Mobility Radeon 6370 and your Wi-Fi card (RT5390) aren't supported. You will probably have to wait until drivers are made and thats fairly unlikely. I'd say you wont have much luck getting any of that hardware working with OS X

Mac OS almost booted on ASUS

Yes, you're getting a dreadful Kernel Panic you either have an incompatible hardware or you need a kext to prevent the Panic. Sometimes a kext can be causing the problem, try to take a picture and upload it so we can see the issue in more depth as there can be several things happening. Good Luck!

I personally like to use EasyBCD because you can add OS' like Linux and Mac OS X into the Windows Bootloader so it will point to Chameleon or GRUB and it will boot great. Here's the link, you have to run it on windows: EasyBCD
12. Try booting with ##### I highly recommend this! then install ##### afterwards http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ibo...ac-os-x-on.html Otherwise just use a distro such as iAtkos S3 or Hazard's Distro

Software updater - Kernel Panic

Hmm strange I'd recommend a reinstall although I recommend you get an Retail Disc and use ##### as it is the best way to install OS X I'd only use a distro like iAtkos if the retail install fails

Need help installing MAC OS X on PC

Try changing your BIOS settings looks like a problem with ACPI try changing ACPI mode The outlook doesn't look too good because its not just one driver thats not working or something like that. Also you're running on AMD and it's usually harder to get OS X running on AMD than it is Intel. I built myself a Intel 775 system they're cheap and do the job Good Luck!
