StarkIndustries
So I recently installed 4gb more of ram (total of 8gb) into my hackintosh. It try to boot (cpus=1 busratio=20) and fails and shuts down. So I try to set some new kernel flags for maxmem. (cpus=1 busratio=20 maxmem=4096). This works. I try to set the com.apple.boot.plist in library/preferences.... with these new flags, and it still shuts down. How come my computer doesn't read the com.apple.boot.plist for its start up kernel flags and what can I do to fix it? Specs: Snow Leopard 10.6.2 AMD Phenom II X4 955BE Asus M4A97xtd Evo nividia 9800GT.
