scousi Posted March 5, 2011 Share Posted March 5, 2011 For those who update to 10.6.6 with ATI mobile graphics and get a mosaic type of garbled screen after reboot - the fix is simply to remove *X3000* and ATI5000* in the /System/Library/Extensions directory BEFORE rebooting. Actually I renamed all of the the above kexts and bundles by changing the extension (rename with mv command) just in case but deleting has the same effect.
