Can i use two different graphics cards on Mac? let me explain: when i enter on Windows with chameleon (i have dual boot) i want that Windows use only the graphic card ATI 6950 and instead when i enter on Snow Leopard i want that OSX see and use only the other graphic card (ATI 5850); it is possible? GeorgeXu
It seems impossible. We had try SLI with Snow Leopard 10.6.6 but failed. Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/250212-hi-i-am-ivorshim-xd/#findComment-1648938 Share on other sites

big_fella_andy
I've got very limited experience with a mac... But from years of using windows based PC's what i'de recomend trying is Disabeling the Mac graphics card in windows, and Vice versa... (not sure how to do this in mac) Only problem i see isn't so much with the mac side of things, it's the bios, Bios will automaticly choose which card to initially load up and use... not sure how well it will switch mid-instalation. Some motherboards disable onboard graphics as soon as a graphics card is installed.. I'm guessing it will do this with 2 graphics cards aswel.
