Redspike Posted March 3, 2011 Share Posted March 3, 2011 Just by looking at it you don't seem to have a DNS server set for your connection. You can use your routers ip address here(which will pass the dns request on to your ISP so use 192.168.1.1), or another dns provider which you can find via google. Hopefully that should sort it. V-mos Posted March 3, 2011 Author Share Posted March 3, 2011 well i nowk that is diferent than windows but i cant asing an ip adrees because the modem o the router is asing the ip automatic and even when i put dns the same 192.168.1.1 still not conect also if i use the dchp config only say ip autoasing and no conect it could be that the ethernet is not working fine ? Redspike Posted March 3, 2011 Share Posted March 3, 2011 Possibly, just to check whats working and what isn't could you try in terminal: ping www.google.com and show the output here, and then ping 74.125.77.99 and show the output here, (the ip address is also google).
