NeoClaw
hi I'm new to all this OSX86 stuff and ran into some problems.. I installed Hazard's Snow Leopard 10.6.6, but I can only boot the system with -x or -s. If I try to boot the system normally, it just reboots in the middle of the boot process when I'm seeing the apple icon, and the loading ring/animation. Hmm.. I have no idea of what's wrong, so I hope someone here can help me. The computer I'm using is a Shuttle SN25P. You can see the specs here: http://global.shuttle.com/product_detail_spec.jsp?PI=89 I'm using a AMD Athlon 64 CPU, got 2 GB RAM and an IDE HDD and IDE DVD-Drive. I don't know if you need more info, but just ask Thank you Edit: The reason could be the graphics card. It's an GeForce 7100 GS, and I don't know what driver to use for it. Redspike
Have you tried booting with -v to see where the booting process gets to before it restarts? Aerex
From my experience installing diffrent distros I've seen that an nVidia driver can cause problems like this. Maybe booting safe mode doesn't load that driver? Have you tried installing without a driver for the graphics card, it usually works without a specified driver in customize.
