djouija Posted September 19, 2011 Share Posted September 19, 2011 I've managed to get the wireless working using this kext: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HKXFLV4D I tried a number of other kexts but this one works with b/g/n networks (and all others were only b/g) The bluetooth on the card will work as well, but ONLY after first loading into Windows first (with the proper drivers installed in Windows) as the card requires the firmware to be uploaded to it by the driver, and the basic mac driver used does NOT perform this. There is a fix for the chipset that the bluetooth is based on here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=79&t=18410 but it DOES NOT support the AR9002WB-1NG unfortunately (as the firmware upload tool only works with Atheros-based AR3011 Vendor ID and the AR9002WB-1NG uses a Toshiba Vendor ID) so there is no fix for this for now, but I'm looking really hard for one!!! "Atheros AR9285 AR5B195 WLAN Wireless BT BlueTooth Half Card" and when I searched for it's compatibility I was unsure of how Compatible I would get I have a Toshiba satellite a660 with a Broadcom 4313 (4727); Runnning OS X Lion 10.7.2 so how well does this work (I have the toshiba bluetooth kext which enables the bluetooth either in the broadcom 4313 or if it has it's own chip I have no idea.. Not sure how significant this is to you) Anyway can you give me details about compatibility and how I can get it to work if it needs any work at all? Presumptuous thanks.
