TinFoil209 Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 I tried to install leopard and to see how the Install DVD would act I booted with the 'C' key down. Well it goes through the motions for awhile with the spinning wheel then all of a sudden total black screen. I think well maybe its loading the right drivers, I come back 15 min later and can see the install screen! Yet, with no backlight.... I tried pressing the F14-F15 to increase brightness there but to no sucess... Any ideas? I know this is all brand new but ahh it sucks! LOL P.S. This is very ironic cause my LG PM-325 phone's backlight is dead... Curses! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TinFoil209 Posted August 18, 2006 Author Share Posted August 18, 2006 I fixed it, on here the sleep u can still see part of the LCD. So one notch on the brightness = sleep... Hope this doesnt kill my LCD.... Im on it now... iMac G5 20" turn your brightness all the way up before going into the DVD... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
