I downloaded and have used successfully the file called 'snow bootloader', I know it's chameleon based program but I cannot find anything on the internet as to its history nor the originator. As this solved a boot problem after a friend sorted the initial 10.6.3 install on my laptop when I needed to copy the files to a larger hard drive, I would love to fid out.
