brendyman
First time posting here; I'm sure you guys have seen millions of these posts, but I've looked everywhere and I'm in desperate need of help. I have an iDeneb disk (1.5.7) and when I put it in my computer and restart, it brings me to the boot screen. I press enter, and it says "loading Darwinx86" for a few seconds, and then my computer restarts. I've read posts claiming success when typing in cpus=1, cpus=2, cpus=4, etc and busratio=7. I've tried these options, but with no solution whatsoever. Has anyone found a solution to a similar problem?

I'm assuming those components are attached to a motherboard, perhaps you'd like to share that with us as well...
brendyman
Oh, right. Forgot about that, sorry: I believe is it called "TRUCKEE-UL8E" (or at least that's what it seems to be, after a little research)
ruger42
Oh, right. Forgot about that, sorry: I believe is it called "TRUCKEE-UL8E" (or at least that's what it seems to be, after a little research) From what little I can find on it, I believe it's an Intel X58 based board. Not sure why you would want to use iDeneb 1.5.7, with an i7 processor you should be trying to install retail Snow Leopard. There are also several guides in this forum for installing on X58 motherboards. Make sure you do some searching here on your video card to make sure it's fully supported before you start... Inf123
Also note before you install you might need to remove 4 gigs of ram so you only have a maximum of 4 gigs (one of the reqs on tony mac's #####+##### setup)
