relikwie Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 Hi, after I had succesfully installed on a Pentium laptop I now tried my desktop (amd 2800XP), but this is a bit more complicated The main problem is that it doesn't recognize my usb devices. I have managed to install eventually, but still only usable ith ps2 input devices and also my wireless pci card is not found (ralink 2500 - which should with their dirvers). I think I need 10.4.3 kext files for my usb and pci trouble, but can't get them anywhere Also the amd 10.4.7 update doesnt work for me.. see message (screenshot). Now I planned to download the Goatsecx image, that comes with 4.3 kext by default and is, as I have read the preffered image for amd systems. maybe the update to 10.4.7 will work on this one. Only one problem remains, I badly need an account on demonoid to download the goatsecx dvd. They have closed registrations at the moment and only accepting new members by invitation done by existing members. Would someone, who is registred please pm me an invitation.. It's much appreciated.
