haeroy
Hi, I've got a problem with my fresh install of Snow Leopard on my computer (P5KPL-AM EPU motherboard) : I can't boot on it without the CD (Pirate EFI X) I used to boot the installation on an original DVD of Snow Leopard. I've Chameleon installed on my computer and I'm looking for a way to make it boot correctly : but I don't know how. If I boot with the CD there is no problem with Mac OS, but if I boot with Chameleon instaled on my computer, the apple freeze and I got a message that tell me to reboot my computer. I make some search with google but I haven't found anything that can help me. Bye. PS : I'm french and I haven't a good level in english, please apoligize if i've made mistakes. haeroy
I've done what you said, put the DSDT.aml file in Extra Folder and It still don't boot : Here there is my com.apple.Boot.plist and my smbios.plist Lizard recognize my Chameleon. UUID on those files are both mine. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Boot Banner</key> <string>No</string> <key>DSDT</key> <string>/Extra/dsdt.aml</string> <key>Default Partition</key> <string>hd(0,2)</string> <key>GenerateCStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GeneratePStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1440x900x32</string> <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string></string> <key>Rescan</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>SMBIOS</key> <string>/Extra/smbios.plist</string> <key>SMUUID</key> <string>279B8DEA-3416-3353-9B28-F387051F4BCF</string> </dict> </plist> <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>SMUUID</key> <string>279B8DEA-3416-3353-9B28-F387051F4BCF</string> <key>SMbiosdate</key> <string>14/07/2010</string> <key>SMbiosvendor</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>SMbiosversion</key> <string>PEX21.88Z.005C.B01.0608221120</string> <key>SMboardmanufacturer</key> <string>Apple Computer, Inc.</string> <key>SMboardproduct</key> <string>Mac-F4208DC8</string> <key>SMfamily</key> <string>MacPro</string> <key>SMmanufacturer</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>SMmemmanufacter</key> <string>Apple Computer Inc.</string> <key>SMmempart</key> <string>1</string> <key>SMmemserial</key> <string>100000000</string> <key>SMmemspeed</key> <string>1600</string> <key>SMmemtype</key> <string>24</string> <key>SMproductname</key> <string>MacPro3,1</string> <key>SMserial</key> <string>W88033AKY51</string> <key>SMsystemversion</key> <string>1.0</string> </dict> </plist>
kamandag2
hello there! I have exactly the same board as yours and Snow Leopard v10.6.6 is working fine on my system. I think for this case you need to delete the Sleepenabler.kext inside the Extra\Extension and use MaLd0n DSDT patcher and it works for me. Good luck!
