plato Posted February 20, 2011 Share Posted February 20, 2011 Hello, I'm pretty new to all this hackintosh stuff so I tried to install a finished distro i downloaded. It's SnowLeopard 10.6.6i by Hazard. But every time i want to install it, it just reboots. I get the Chameleon bootloader, then the white apple logo and than it just reboots. I won't install. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem? I got an Asus g51j with i7-720qm. Any help would be appreciated. Solution was simple: 10.6.6i Hazard didnt work for me, so I chose 10.6.2 Hazard Distro and installation went flawless. I found after I applied the SL_10.6.6i_IOATAFamily.ppf to the ISO I could get to the install screen by using [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 3.1.1 instead of the loader used by the disc and this was on a i5 desktop. On my AMD/Gateway NV53 laptop I had to use an Empire EFI boot disc to get to the install screen. I have a similar problem, i am able to install it but it restarts when i boot into it. Can someone please help me?
