OS TEST Posted February 16, 2011 Share Posted February 16, 2011 I decided to try this board and since it worked, to share how to get leopard running. you will needed a system that's already running, as non of the popular boot cd would start the os cd. Step one. add a the hard drive to the existing mac computer, i used 10.6 image a cd would work also , now select system/installation/packages/osinstall.mpkg.. this is for those that don't know how to get installation started. [/left]Step 2 choose the package you what to install from the os, do not reboot now select any of the combo updates available i used 10.6.6 and 10.6.7 both worked . Step three i used mulitibeast 3.1.. i selected " ioahciblockstorage.., realtek r1000l, fakesmc, legacyapplertc, usbrollback, voodoo ps/2 controller, 32-bit apple boot screen--if u want 64 bit choose 64bit version, smbios was taken from a diff system i used "mac pro 3.1 identifier", select your theme or load the chameleon of your choosing , select rebuild caches, repair permission. Step four on the hard drive that will be on the msi board i made sure the extra folder have these files " acpimonitor, fakesmc, intelthermal, ioahciblockstorage..., ionetworkingfamily. iousbfamily, openhaltrestart, superiofamily,voodoops2controller.
