AndrésMao Posted August 16, 2006 Share Posted August 16, 2006 i own a Toshiba Satellite a laptop very popular in OSX86 installations, so i have no LAN (intel/pro 100 LAN) and no AUDIO (Realtek ALC861) ...so i have tried all the popular solutions , overwrite the kexts...so if any Toshiba satellite owner can help me with this BIG TROUBLE... i would be very grateful,........ Gfer Posted August 16, 2006 Share Posted August 16, 2006 I own a toshiba satellite laptop.. i use a wireless connection with a dlink router and a d-link dwl-g122 usb wireless adapter. i got audio working by just going into the bios and then save and exit without making any changes. AndrésMao Posted August 18, 2006 Author Share Posted August 18, 2006 Ok Gfer, i´m now online from Safari, i´ve fixed the Ethernet problem!!!. now only the sound is missing .... i´m new on Mac, i can overwrite the extensions, what Sound Card do you own? bptba93 Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 what model of toshiba is it? when you see the toshiba screen push f1 i think then get into the bios and find in there where it says like os device control or something like that then click it to all devices and not os controled...it somehow forces os x to recognize the sound card...
