Hi guy's I've installed Mac OS, and then updated to 10.6.6, the problem is that I can't use my nVidia 8800GT properly, everything else is working (sound, lan, ...) For the graphic card, I've tried some kexts like NVenabler, and it helped, as I was able to change screen resolution, but I don't think that the system was using the graphic card properly, as playing any game was painfull, as it has a very very bad framerate...

I just don't know what should I do, i've searched, but i don't know what I should use...

My specs are:

Motherboard: Asus P5K-R

CPU: Q6600

I've installed my system, following this tutorial

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=213336

Thanks

I had problems with my card.... save yourself the headache and buy this:

http://www.amazon.com/Geforce-8400GS-Graph...M/dp/B002YOVYBY

It's only $40 bucks but works out of the box, I suggest fresh re-install OS X when you put in the graphics card it'll automatically detect the card and enable Quartz Extreme.... Now I'm editing with Final Cut Pro no problem ;)

You'll know if it works when you first go into OS X and get that cool intro video. I have full resolution up to 1920x1080!

You could save yourself the trouble and the headache and use the EFI string for your 8800 GT using EFIStudio (instead of installing other drivers for it) - I have done this and it works great. I end up getting a full 1366 x 768 on my 20 inch LED monitor. Hope this helps :)
