wenter
Hi, all I am looking for the card (cards) that will allow me to use 2 independent monitors connected via DVI and HDMI output at the same time. As I see there are 2 options: 1) Single PCI-x16 video card that can do all at the same time (what inexpensive card can do that?) 2) Two PCI-X16 video cards What is the best route in this case? wenter
Did you try Sapphire HD5770 FLEX edition? Not yet At this moment I have a single monitor connected to DVI on my GeForce 8400. I have second monitor, but do not have HDMI TV yet. You think this card can do it? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814102898 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/246915-2-dvi-monitors-and-hdmi-recoomendation-needed/#findComment-1636544 Share on other sites

When you use HDMI, one DVI will be disable. Note: DP will depend on how to connect it. I didn't have a monitor with DP port to test, but I tested DP port with DP2VGA adaptor and it's working. 2 DVIs + DP w/ DP2VGA adaptor. It's possible to get 1 DVI + HDMI + DP w/ DP2VGA cable Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/246915-2-dvi-monitors-and-hdmi-recoomendation-needed/#findComment-1638799 Share on other sites
