splintah Posted August 15, 2006 Author Share Posted August 15, 2006 whats the difference between those 945 955 965 975 chipsets anyway ? i read 945 is only for 4xxx (2mb) if you want the 6xxx (4mb) you need to get 965 or 975 is that correct ? raph Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 i experienced a couple crashes, i think they are due to my stupid benq dvdrw OR rosetta... i have yet to narrow down the crashes (everything points to rosetta) the video card is a radeon x1600 pro (diamond) vga output the only pro app i installed so far is aperture and the results are just amazing (it just pisses me so much that it is actually easier to install on that machine and i have to hack around to get it running on my powerbook g4 12 inch that is 5 months old!!!!) ill try final cut pro tomorow ill keep you on touch Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
