invisiblesurfer Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 Hi guys I got a KP due to forgetting to remove Sleepenabler.kext from my 1000H Asus netbook and I now can not regain finder access in order to delete it. I have tried to boot with the following: boot: -v -x boot: -v -x -s boot: -v -x -f They will all hang at the sleepenabler kext. Can you please help me to delete the faulty kext? Hello, boot -s and try this comand: this move your kext for one patch in your / "raiz disk" mount -uw / cd / mkdir /ExtOff/ mv /System/Library/Extensions/Sleepenabler.kext /ExtOff/ rm -r /System/Library/Extensions/Extensions.mkext cd / shutdown -r now Good Luck!!!!!! Edit: Actually I did gain access to my main install and removed sleepenabler but it still KPs (( Use your DVD INSTALL DISK boot whit -s our use Terminall app in your Snow install DVD.
