KSwoosh
Im planning on purchasing a mini pci-e WiFi card for my laptop, so I can have WiFi in OSX86. I will be using iAtkos S3 v2 to install it on my laptop. And im wondering if you guys know a good WiFi card which is compatible with OSX 10.6.x [from iAtkos S3 v2]? Preferrably supported without extra kext's, but if needed, I can install an extra kext for the WiFi card. S.SubZero
My old Broadcom 43xx in my Dell laptop was recognized as an Airport Extreme in 10.5. I don't know the last two digits. They make several models. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/246110-iatkos-s3-v2-compatible-wifi-card/#findComment-1634712 Share on other sites
KSwoosh
My old Broadcom 43xx in my Dell laptop was recognized as an Airport Extreme in 10.5. I don't know the last two digits. They make several models. and it works fine like it should? EDIT: So I checked, and it indeed seems like a lot of the 43xx models are supported, judging from the drivers list during installation: 01, 05, 06, 07, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 2b Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/246110-iatkos-s3-v2-compatible-wifi-card/#findComment-1634783 Share on other sites
