KSwoosh
Hi, I have an Acer Aspire 7730G [specs in sig] which has the Intel WiFi card that will never work. So I checked out someone else's Hackintosh Acer 7730G, and he was waiting for a DELL DW 1490 Airport Extreme to put in his laptop, so he can have WiFi. I havent heard back from him, so I was wondering: does iAtkos S3 v2 support this card? [if so, i will purchase it, and add it too my notebook [i believe there was actually one open pci slot]] Note: its been a long while since I've had OSX on my notebook [last one was iAtkos v7, about 1.5 years ago]. ALso, im not a real expert with OSX86, kext's, etc. so I'm hoping you can help me out here ^^ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/245844-dell-dw-1490-airport-extreme/ Share on other sites

tanner
Possibly I didn't really look into this thread but if I were you give it a try and make sure you have time machine if not then I wouldn't suggest installing. Because I have airport working with the kext on 4311 but I can only boot into safe mode Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/245844-dell-dw-1490-airport-extreme/#findComment-1632344 Share on other sites
