motheninja
Alright so I got 10.6.3 on my PC via iAtkos S3 v2. It sucessfully installed and rebooted and It boots into the HDD. But I get the apple logo, then a grey layer shows up and a restart this mac pop-up shows up and I turned off my rig and took out the disc and powered it up again. But the same error keeps on coming. In chameleon, I tried -v-x-f-s cpus=1 busratio=21 but still no boot. I had to delete my Windows 7 partition to install this so I really need this fixed ASAP. Thanks! dothacker
how about a pic of the kernel panic there, man. I kinda misplaced my crystal ball and i can't guess what the heck is killing your install. -V is fine, we just wanna see the error in verbose mode. So you have a Core 2 Duo hackintosh Desktop? Video should be up in about 10 minutes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QM0OECF6RsI&feature=feedu LINK FOR VIDEO ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
augusto1982
Hey, I had a similar problem with my inte i5 laptop. The problem went away when I installed the voodoo kernel. Then, I only need to use the flags cpus=1 and busratio=20. I hope this helps. Kind regards! Iam uploading a video for you. So you have a Core 2 Duo hackintosh Desktop? dothacker
dude, put spaces on your boot flags.. meaning -v <space> -x <space> -s <space> etc etc... not -v-s-x-f. and -v is all you need so you can boot on verbose mode and see what errors you get. David23
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=220312 use this boot cd booting with -x cpus=1 busratio=21, after run post install. Or you can use ##### with qoopz kernel if you like... vanilla kernel supports intel core i3/5/7 only from 10.6.4! Kind regards! cool thanks man. so the mac won't be a quad core will it? cause if I use cpus=1 flag to run it, it will basically by a single core mac? also the voodoo kernel, what exactly do I need to do? I read this thread: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=170428 and this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=805678 but iam not sure exactly what to do. Do you have any tutorials you know of? If I can't get it working, I will just install iAtkos v7 but that is a successful install but that one once the mac boots up and the first time assistant shows up for the mac setup, it got stuck there in a loop. after I enter the registration, it would go back to the beginning of the registration and setup. do you know how to fix that by chance? Thanks!
