I am able to install iAtkos s3 v2 with no problems, but if i try to update to 10.6.6 the usb ports seem to be dead, i tried installing #####, but after install and restarting i will get the error "hold on the power... in 5 languages. it seems that the only problem that i have is that the usb ports wont work after the update.

i hope someone can help me with that.

thanks on advance.

have you tried the ##### IOUSBFamily rollback? it worked for me. i have attached the ##### i used here are the steps i used.

starting with 10.6.5

-Download the 10.6.6 update from Apple's website (not the combo)

-Backup IOUSBFamily.kext from /System/Library/Extensions to Your desktop.

-Install 10.6.6 update it but don't restart yet.

-Drag and Drop IOUSBFamily.kext backed up earlier to Kext Utility app, put in your password and let it do it's thing.

-Now quit and restart (Note that this are the steps i used. You might need other stuff in order to boot into your snow leopard)

-Once booted on the 10.6.6 Snow Leopard open ##### and select ONLY IOUSBFamily Rollback, install and restart

-Now they should be working 100%

Kext_Utility.zip

update to 10.6.4... before updating to 10.6.5, go to S/L/E and copy IOUSBfamily.kext and IOUSBMassStorage.kext to your desktop. install 10.6.5 update but DO NOT RESTART. Re-install the 2 kext in your desktop back to S/L/E. repair permissions then restart.

If you're doing 10.6.6, do the same thing.

oh by the way, this has been covered so if you searched, you would've found out about it.
