Sword7 Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 Hello folks, I successfully installed Mac OS X 10.6.3 with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] v2.6 and [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] v3.1.0 on my ASUS G2S laptop. It is not working in normal boot mode (only working in safe mode). I looked into kernel.log and found some errors. It showed that AtherosL1Ethernet was loaded and executed. It recognized the Ethernet MAC address then later failed to resolve dependencies with IONetworkingFamily kexts. I put AtherosL1Eternet.kext in /Extra/Extensions directory. Does anyone have any solution with that? Thanks! reader02 Posted February 17, 2011 Share Posted February 17, 2011 I put AtherosL1Eternet.kext in /Extra/Extensions directory. Sword7 put AtherosL1Eternet.kex to /System/Library/Extensions folder, or copy IONetworkingFamily to /Extra/Extensions folder.
