ok here is the thing, i have an macbook pro here and its been busted for some time, the GPU solder needs adjusting or something along them lines so its off for repair, so as i can not see anything from either the screen or the DVi slot on the side i can't seem to run the computer But i can connect it to my other mac using the old Target mode. now the thing is i need to reset the password as i have so forgotten what it was Yeah its been that long and i have been to bed since then lol

so what i am asking is this! is there a way to reset the password of that os x from my broken mac while that disk is in target mode?

thanks for any answers i know it should be feasible but you never know if you don't ask
